Pastor Brian Tome invites you to reflect on what’s holding you back from fully embracing the life God has designed for you. In this message, he connects the parable of the sower to the common barriers we all face like cynicism, fragility, and distractions. He pushes us to create in ourselves fertile soil for God’s word, in order to unlock a life of spiritual growth, purpose, and personal transformation.

Welcome to the Weekend-Follow Up!
This is the group part of the Bible Challenge, so your questions are based on specific Bible passages from the weekend message. Each week, your group will discover what God might be saying to you, and how you can respond through a group discussion.
Describe a favorite memory of when you gathered with family or friends to watch or witness something. What made it so special?
What stood out to you most from the message?
Do you feel like you’re in a season where you can be reflective or are you just trying to get through each day? Or are you somewhere in between?
How do you feel about the 10x Push? If you or someone you know has seen God move since it started, share with the group.
What soil do you find yourself identifying with the most: hard soil, rocky soil, or thorny soil (cynicism, fragility, or distraction)? Why do you relate with that soil in particular?
Read Matthew 13:23. What fruit would you like to see grow and/or multiply in your life right now?
What is one way you can say “yes” to God this week to move towards becoming good soil, so that God can do more in your life?
Let’s end our time praying together. You can say something like, “God, thank you for speaking your word to us and wanting more for us. Help us work through our struggles so that we become the good soil you want us to be. Increase our faith so that you can do more than we can imagine. Amen.”
